In accordance with the E.U regulations (2016/679) concerning personal data protection, we are hereby notifying you that your participation in the specific scientific event conforms to certain rules of maintenance and handling of your personal data required for filling out the Participation Form. Please read carefully in order to facilitate our task to secure your personal data.

• Required data. Data appearing on the Participation Form are first/last name, profession (employer, address, etc.), as well as contact data (e-mail, telephone number, etc.).
• Handling. The purpose of handling personal data is to secure privacy and successfully fulfill secretarial duties, before, during and after the event. The regulatory guidelines pertaining to Congresses and scientific events in general, in addition to each delegate’s written consent, constitute the legal base for maintaining personal data.
• Recipients. Personal data recipients are the “Free Spirit” personnel, the scientific entity responsible for the organization of the event and relevant public authorities, where applicable.
• Maintenance. Personal data is maintained by the “Free Spirit” personnel either in written or digital archives for a period of three (3) months after the end of a scientific event. Upon completion of the abovementioned period, the data is written off.
• Delegates’ rights. Each delegate is entitled to access their personal data at any time, by submitting an application form (info@free-spirit.gr), for updating, correcting or writing off specific data no longer necessary.
